Gonçalo is an experienced photographer with wide-ranging experience in commercial, corporate and editorial photography. Gonçalo likes to combine teaching the basics of handling a camera, with the concept of how to build an image using composition, light, colour and the elusive concept of “gesture” (a term much used by legendary american photographer Jay Maisel). He likes to keep language as simple as possible and use analogies in order to explain the more technical aspects of photography, and scale it up as needed for more advanced attendees. English and Portuguese spoken. His latest solo exhibition was in 2016 “Quadros de Luz e Breu”, at Centro de Ciência Viva do Lousal http://www.lousal.cienciaviva.pt/exposicoes/luzbreu/
